Press Conference: Arizonans Deliver Petition Urging Governor Hobbs to Protect Workers from Extreme Heat with Enforceable Standard
More than 1,500 Arizonans call for statewide, enforceable protections ensuring water, shade, and rest for workers facing extreme heat.

Press Conference announcing the delivery of a petition signed by more than 1,500 Arizonans calling on Governor Hobbs, the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety & Health, and the Workplace Heat Safety Task Force to advance an enforceable state standard providing all Arizona workers with lifesaving heat protections like water, shade, and rest.

The petition delivery and press conference come as Arizona's Workplace Heat Safety Task Force finalizes its recommendations to the Industrial Commission of Arizona.
